These boots are like wrapping my feet in little clouds of comfort! The 9 wides are perfect for my size 9 feet. No sign of loosing my little toe nail as with so many other brands. I have been wearing them every day and my plantar fascitis is going away! Worth every penny. Also, I get many compliments on the red color.Thank you!!

I will give five starts to both Vermont Gear and Oboz Bridger Mid Waterproof Boots. Nothing is left to be desired with either. I was unable to find this boot in my size in Chicago, so I found them online at Vermont Gear. My boots arrived promptly and were comfortable right out of the box. I did wear them indoors for a while to make sure they were good to go since I have so much trouble with shoe fit and comfort due to crummy feet, and found they were comfortable enough to test outside. Walking is a joy in these supportive boots, though I have yet to go for long hike. They do not feel overly bulky like the waterproof, winter, Keen, hiking boots. I also wear them here in Chicago while commuting on my bicycle, in this cool, wet, spring weather. The sole is stiff enough and has enough grip to do well on flat pedals. I bought a wide in a half size larger than normal to help with bunion pain and accommodate thicker socks. They are perfect for me. The included insole is supportive and has good arch support as well as cushioning where needed. I have orthotics for my foot problems, but they are barely needed with this insole. Right now, I keep the orthotics in my running shoes and have just been using the insole that came with the boots. I highly recommend these hiking boots. I love the red.
